Meet Our 2026-2027 Executive Team
Our Association prides itself in fostering an open, inclusive environment that encourages our delegates to debate, analyze and synthesize the world’s most pressing issues. To achieve this, our dedicated executive team spends the academic year preparing a variety of events and training's that always keep our delegates in mind. A few examples include: training sessions for those who are new to MUN, advanced training sessions for seasoned members, monthly social events, and an end-of-the year Gala to celebrate our successful term.
The Executive team is responsible for the governing mechanisms and tools for their term. They are elected in during the election period in the Winter semester.
President
Steph Magistrado (she/they)
The President oversees the executive team and meetings of the executive, as well as making sure that all tasks are being completed by other members of the executive.
Secretary General of CAPMUN
Samson Friedman (he/him)
The Secretary General is the head of the CAPMUN Secretariat, which is responsible for planning and hosting CAPMUN, a bilingual conference that our association holds for high school students.
VP Administration
Aria Williams (they/she)
The VP Administration maintains the association's email, calendar and website. They also oversee external communications such as the association's branding and internal communications.
VP Delegate Coordination
Amy Dufour (she/her)
The VP Delegate Coordination is responsible for all relations with external conferences and planning our attendance to the conferences in question, including hotel and travel booking.
VP Engagement
Ellie Lin (they/them)
The VP Engagement is responsible for maintaining our members' list, reaching out to students who potentially could fit in with our club and organising club activities.
VP Finance
Trinity Braithwaite (she/her)
The VP Finance manages all financial aspects of our club. They work on budgeting, financial reports, and fundraising initiatives.
VP Media
Joy Wang (she/her)
The VP Media maintains the association's social media, including Instagram, Discord and Facebook.
VP Training
Cooper Young (he/him)
The VP Training is jointly responsible with their counterpart to prepare our delegates for external conferences. They write the training curriculum and plan in-houses and training sessions.

VP Francophone Affairs
Kayla Dulac-Bélanger (she/her)
The VP of Francophone Affairs is responsible for
implementing and overseeing bilingualism within the Association and working with all other members of the Executive to foster a linguistically inclusive environment,
VP Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
Teagan Brunelle Folker (she/her)
The Director of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion works to ensure uOMUNA is inclusive of all uOttawa students by providing resources and developing association-wide policies to support all our members.
Director of External Affairs
Sajdah Hema (she/her)
The Director of External Affairs is responsible for external sponsorships and coordinating collaboration with other organizations.
Director of Communications

The Director of Communications assists in external communications and meeting minutes translations, ensuring clear, concise, and bilingual communcations with members.
Director of Accounting

The Director of Accounting assists the VP Finance in keeping track of the association's transactions, expenses, and income.
